Age Verification Policy
Vaping products contain nicotine and carry an 18+ age restriction under UK law. V4 Vapour does not sell to anyone under 18, and we use 1account, an independent age and identity verification service, to confirm every customer's age before an order ships.
How it works
Enter your full name, billing address, and date of birth exactly as they appear on your passport, driving licence, or the electoral roll. Once you complete checkout, 1account checks these details automatically against trusted UK data sources. Most customers pass this instant check and never see another step.
If we can't verify you instantly
1account will send you an email with a link to finish verification. Check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't land in your inbox. You'll be asked to confirm your age using one of the following:
- Mobile phone number
- Credit or debit card
- UK electoral roll
- Driving licence
Whichever method you choose, the check usually takes just a couple of minutes to complete.
If verification still can't confirm your age
Send a clear photo of a valid passport or driving licence, along with your order number, to hello@888vapour.com. Our team will check it and confirm your order once we've reviewed it. We don't keep copies of any ID you send us. If we still can't confirm you're 18 or over, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full.
Do I need to do this on every order?
No. Once 1account verifies you, we remember your status for a period of time, provided you sign in with the same account and your name, address, and payment details stay the same. Changing any of these will trigger a fresh check and we will verify with fresh checks from time to time.
Your data
Where you've asked us to provide an age-restricted product, you consent to us sharing your information with, and collecting information from, One Account Mobile Limited (1account) and the third-party providers of identity data that 1account works with. This is necessary for 1account to confirm you meet the minimum age and identity verification requirements set out in UK age restriction legislation.
You also consent to 1account retaining relevant data for future verifications, so you shouldn't need to go through the process again on later orders. All data processed by 1account is subject to appropriate security measures, and 1account reviews retained data periodically to make sure it isn't held for longer than necessary.
